The purpose of Letters of Love is to provide friendship and support to people struggling with depression. To accomplish this mission, we will:

• Exchange letters with pen pals
• Organize chain letters for pen pals to participate in
• Give pen pals a place — Scars Can Speak — to safely talk about their problems
• Provide resources of information about depression, self-injury, addiction, eating disorders, and other related issues
• Promote and encourage other organizations and groups dedicated to spreading awareness of depression
